In March 2023, I was promoted to Senior Software Engineer, where I led and contributed to larger, more complex projects. Some of my key achievements were:

• Successfully transitioned our architecture to a microservices model, migrating owned services and data to enhance scalability and reliability.
• Improved our monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards by migrating to Datadog, resulting in better system observability and incident response.
• Managed the deployment process to production for our services, introducing these practices to the team.
• Actively involved in initiatives to improve the reliability and scalability of our systems.
• Effectively planned and delivered complex features, delegating tasks and collaborating across teams. Coordinated with stakeholders such as product managers, designers, and related engineering teams for cross-functional projects.
• Led continuous improvement initiatives, promoting the use of detailed documentation or recordings over meetings. Regularly provided feedback and addressed team pain points during retrospectives.
• Actively engaged in resolving critical customer issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
• Established as a go-to person for technical advice, particularly in debugging, monitoring, and complex technical designs.

While working at Trifacta, we went through an acquisition, which required us to develop new skills to make the integration successful. This allowed me to grow my expertise on different areas:

• Developed and maintained features across both frontend and backend using an iterative process, gaining a comprehensive end-to-end understanding of our services. Key features included asset sharing, exporting, and process orchestration, utilizing technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, Java, and Camunda.
• Mentored junior developers and new team members, providing guidance and support on the codebase and best practices through detailed documentation, onboarding sessions, and pair programming.
• Embraced new technologies and frameworks introduced during the acquisition, such as Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD and, Datadog, integrating them into team processes to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Engaged in team discussions and architecture reviews, comparing different solutions, breaking down epics into manageable tasks, and delivering high-quality implementations while maintaining a strong focus on meeting customer requirements.
• Demonstrated strong skills in both written and verbal communication, producing detailed design documents and leading discussion meetings, fostering a climate of trust and respect within the team.
• Took part in interviewing new engineering candidates, evaluating their technical skills, cultural fit, and how they could contribute to our team

During this time, my key accomplishments were:

• Successfully led and contributed to several key projects that were important for the company's growth and development.
• Organized and led weekly engineering meetings focused on knowledge sharing, internal architectures, and the introduction of new technologies, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
• Actively engaged in resolving critical issues for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
• Initiated and facilitated cross-team collaboration, expanding my impact beyond my immediate team.

During my six-month internship at Trifacta, I fully integrated into the team from the start, taking on responsibilities similar to a full-time software engineer. Some of the key accomplishments were:

• Mastered various tech stacks, including Node.js, React, and Java, which were critical to our development processes.
• Played an important role in completing significant projects that enhanced our product's functionality and user experience.
• Won a prize during the company’s annual Hack Week for a project focused on localization, aimed at improving user experience on a global scale.
• Received positive feedback for my contributions, which facilitated a seamless transition to a full-time role after the internship.
